9700 versus E72

somehow or rather i am caught with my proposal to my DDG regarding the office phone. I asked him to allow me to buy official phone other than BB. My options are either E72, N97, TP2 or Epyx. BB certainly has its own advantage from the messaging capability as pointed out by DM. This service apparently does not suffer the need for a good 3G line with IM of the like MSN or Yahoo Messenger. If it is an office phone so better with BB then. I still dont like Storm though.

Data Package

I told DM that I have personal number apart from the official number. Why .. he asked. well I need unlimited broadband line and JA decided not to approve my application to have unlimited line with official number.

Spare battery and charger

Just yesterday i spent RM210 for spare battery (RM170) + external charger. They are for my i780. Now i have two sets. I bought them at Mines.

E71

I am beginning to see a lot of ladies as well as men in my workplace are using the E71. personally, I like the handphone.

iphone

few months ago my colleague was looking for a new pda to replace his ageing o2xdaii mini. i had the same brand also. now i am using i780. since his budget was below 2k so i suggested either e71 or i780. so finally he bought the i780. soon after that out was iphone. then i saw that he bought the iphone. i still prefer my i780 than the iphone. last week i saw he brought back his o2xdaii. why? he likes the calendar of winmo. he misses his gps at i780 as iphone does not provide turn by turn.
see those are some of the reason why i don't switch to iphone and still loving my i780 very much.

Blackberry Touch Screen

Aku kat megamall petang tadi so stopped by kat Blue Cube. Ada plak contoh blackberry baru tu. screen cantik. build besar dan still thick lah. Ada accelerometer beb. Macam iphone ... masalahnya ... mak datuk slow nak load application.

In the new Outlook you have to manually put you files in users > yourusername > App_Data (which you have to have show hidden folders on) > then its Roaming > Microsoft > and here is the fun part… it goes in a folder called “Stationary” which does not get created until you open Outlook > options > mail format (Tab) and click on Stationary then voila the folder is then created in the Microsoft Roaming folder where you can put you files and select them from the stationary list. It’s not as good as the original more easier way as it creates custom tags which will have your email sent to spam unless you really work on it."

GPS kat i780 aku

sejak aku deactivate the Pocket Pro X dan juga phone log ... GPS aku dah back to ok. aku dapat lock cepat. so the best conclusion aku boleh buat ialah RAM issue. I need more RAM kat winmo aku kalau aku nak multitasking. GPS is heavy on RAM and cannot afford multitasking.

iPhone

aku memang teruja bila tengok iPhone. Aku dah banyak buat research pasal iPhone ni dan memang aku minat sangat. tapi ada juga turn off kat benda ni. Apa-apa pun aku rasa iPhone ni ok untuk standard users dan bukan hackers macam aku yang ada simpan macam-macam rahsia. Aku perlu hack phone yang aku ada or else aku mungkin akan jatuh ke tanah satu hari nanti. iPhone is not yet for me. Winmo is still the one. Winmo 6.5 nak keluar dah and aku dengan winmo 7 akan match multitouch capability of iphone. aku still tak suka virtual keyboard. aku juga 100% without hiccup bila aku sync with exchange back end.

Netload

wow ... netload provides free version similar to rapid share but a very large file ... 325 MB. Rapid share free only 100MB.

TO SDCC

It must have been a wishful thinking in my part of trying to lock a signal from my i780 to go to SDCC from SB. It accessed the 3G but no better. Yet, i tried .... and unsuccessful. It was a 13 min drives ... at least i tried.

To National Museum

I managed to get a lock at home prior to leaving .. unfortunately the lock was unstable and kept unstable until we got to Museum ...

semalam

on the way to work yesterday was rain all the way ... did not manage to lock the signal at all ...
on the way back ... no rain and still not manage to lock the satellite.
i did not stop and wait ... for the satellite locking. i simply on the gps and drive.

Trees

I had bad experience passing through Mont Kiara on the way to the wedding place. The road between those condos are well covered by trees and hence blocking the GPS signal. I had to stop the car at the side road and waited for the signal to re-appear.

aku on gps aku kat rumah klg aku dan sampai kat ayer keroh masih tak lock. aku berenti dan biarkan dia on sambil aku kat tandas and tengok anak2 aku main buai (adalah dalam 15 minit) then aku masuk kete and dah lock. kene berenti lama beb ...

GPS from BGA

Aku tak dapat lock signal dari BGA sampai rumah w my i780. Aku guna CSx60 sampai ampang park jer dah lock signal ... apa hal ni?
